For my Special Studies in Illustration class, we needed to pick a specific career field for our semester project and create a number of works for an original story concept. For my project, I decided on the Character Designer focus. It was LOTS of work, but super fun ^o^! #atomikart #characterdesign

Final thing from the finals season I want to post online, a little test animation that mainly served as practicing drawing to the tune of dialogue. I used a spliced clip from the Pinocchio (1940) film with my own take on Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy. Very much a WIP. #animation

Finally getting around to posting them. Here's the first of three shots, depicting the main locale of VIRALtm, specifically the central district within Heaven City. Very crowded, very bright, very noisy. For this and the other two, I wanna flesh them out with some more stylization eventually.
Two environments that I submitted as my midterm “exam” for my visual development class. I will definitely touch up (maybe even redo) the one on the right before the term is over, more to come!
Update now that is finished. Working on this made me realize how hard it is to rotate even a more mildly complex part. Need to practice 3d shapes more I think. Some parts are crisp, not so much, but I think I like it. #robot #animation #sketch

Yahooo The way the spikes in the back pop in and out is rough, but I don't have the time to edit it unfortunately. I did less of Toby than I intended anyway.
