For our next team member spotlight, we're highlighting Natalia. Natalia is one CECE’s incredible Postdoctoral Fellows. She is currently exploring conceptual understandings of systems of stewardship, workforce development in the service corps, and resident experiences of the energy transition.

Michael is a graduate student in AU’s Global Environmental Policy program and will be starting full-time at CECE as a research associate in May. He is particularly interested in finding strategies to better serve communities on the frontlines of climate challenges.

Kyra is CECE’s Operations Manager and is the force behind our grants, budgeting, and student worker support. She earned her master’s in Global Environmental Policy at AU and connected so deeply with CECE’s mission that she chose to stay after graduating.

Our next team spotlight is Olive Swan. Olive is a graduate student in the International Development program, a CECE certificate student and runs CECE's social media. She will also be joining CECE as a DataCorps Fellow this summer!

Chris is CECE's Assistant Director. He is passionate about the environment and helping maintain our natural world for future generations. He also strives to help reduce the effects of extreme events so people now and in the future have the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful planet.

Arman Azedi is another one of CECE’s brilliant Postdoctoral Fellows. Arman’s research revolves around social movements, civic engagement, and political sociology. We’re grateful to have him as part of the CECE team, keep following along for more spotlights from our team!

Dana is CECE’s Director. Her research focuses on questions related to democracy, activism, and climate politics. An interesting project Dana is working on with colleagues from across AU focuses on how to turn AI generated predictions about extreme events into accessible information for communities.
