On my way to my first in person meeting as a contractor. I feel business-y.
Pop culture at times has been about celebrating the new. That’s when we feel like we’re riding the wave of technology and innovation. There was optimism in music we loved in the 2010s.
Thinking about what iOS26 represents for the design zeitgeist. I like the emphasis on delight. It makes sense to be moving towards more expressive experiences. But the concept of fluid? Feels more like a gimmick with the glass metaphor and animations than a principle. Very curious about the process.
Morning thoughts: as humans, we work with survival stitched into our actions. AI doesn’t. When we give AI our work, how long until self-preservation enters the equation? And what assumptions can we make while it doesn’t? Articles welcome 🙏
