The corvids all queue up in the morning now for their peanuts- magpies first, then jackdaws then the crows. I absolutely love it.
You know what ND children & young people hate? Meaningless rules, respect that isn't two way people and authoritarians. The ND children that don't kick back are forcing themselves to fit into a system that isn't for them. But what do I know it's not like I used to run a school for ND pupils.

School closures didn't happen they stayed open for some children. Short breaks care homes for disabled children stayed open - I ran one. Children's hospices stayed open. All without proper PPE, support or vaccines. What a disservice this is to everything we did during that time.

I was at a busy bus stop earlier and two young guys in a souped up golf shouted 'bus wankers' at us out of the window. When I was 18 me and my goth mates drove around in my shitty ford fiesta and threw giant parma violets at scallies at bus stops. Nice to see the traditions still going strong.
Good luck with that. My cousin tried to use it for her trip to Edinburgh and it recommended an activity in Pitlochry that wasn't on at the time of year she was coming, activities in Stirling and in Northumbria. Literally getting the computer to make all your decisions. What's the point?

Just been on the phone to my mother for 2 hours and she didn't ask me one thing about me, my new job or anything. But I can give you the tea on all the gossip with her neighbours, the community coffee morning and the local buses.

Jonn Elledge@jonnelledge.bsky.social · 2w agoI feel like the way of dealing with such behaviour is to look these people right in the eye and say, very gently, "You think your right to park matters more than homes these children?" Then when they reply just repeat it with slightly different emphasis.

I don't know if you're familiar or ever been to a place like Rampton, Ashworth or Broadmoor but I have. People are locked away tight, they still get punished for behaviours, all their freedoms are restricted. A lot of people in there are murderers. This reporting isn't helpful to the families.
