Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine said they would oppose Blanche. But Cassidy’s support means he will likely be confirmed.

Maybe I’m a cynic, but I’m guessing Murkowski and Collins’ no votes were decided and allowed weeks ago. Collins wouldn’t have been allowed to announce her vote unless everyone other than Murkowski was a yes. These people made a deal to confirm a pedophile protector.
