Let's add to the shit hole list: Refuses to supply adequate medical care for it's citizens forcing many into bankruptcy. Refuses to provide quality education through college affordable by all, leaving generational poverty intact & a readymade workforce to exploit. We're nowhere near great.

As for Booker, he has a very strong record of legislation promoting Civil/Voting/Women’s/Equal Rights & Justice, for decades.
