Having art block lately, so I thought I’d be clever and turn it into time to refine my construction techniques. Turns out it was probably burnout in disguise and the whole thing slowly devolved from daily warmups into “why bother” leading to zero actual art. Below is *why* I've been quiet lately 😅

I was having a good day at work today. Then a lowlife and his buddy decide to punch me in the face. Went downhill a bit after that 🥲 (To be fair, I shouted to them as they fled "haha, my nan punches harder than that" which was true, but the point still stands 😅) Crossed off the bingo card tho 😭

Pixel art is back! (Sorta) 😅 All the anatomy and figure-drawing practice behind the scenes abso-fruitly cooked my brain, so I delegated the creative decisions to RNG: a semi-random idea and a totally random palette 🎰🎲 This was the result 🌙

Happy #portfolioday My name is Ferd. I do pixelart, music and just recently been doing game development!. Most of my pixel art involves drawing expressive characters, battlemechs, and small creatures sprites a la "Digimon" or "Dragon Quest". I always try to branch out to different styles.

Soooo, originally this was meant to be part of a second armour concept sheet. Then I thought, “Ahhhh, this isn’t TOO BAD. Add a head and arms!” It was at this point she knew… she’d ****ed up. It all makes sense in the timelapse 😅 #DigitalArt #ArmorDesign

Armour study 1.0 ⚔️ Took one torso base and pushed it into a few different directions: plate, leather, cloth, bark, scale mail, and a plate/cloth hybrid. Trying to stretch the design muscles a bit instead of drawing the same generic armour every single piece I do 😅 #artstudy #digitalart
