Top 4% on duolingo. I like robots. I work in drones. But i dont really talk about any of that outside of school or work. Music, crafts, and goofin is more of my thing

Some of the anti-AI stuff feels a bit like when people would say "don't use Wikipedia as a source." It's just like anything else, a piece of information that you weigh against multiple sources and your own understanding of its likely failure modes

Im making a discord bot for image recognition of cat photos. Machine learning is stupid. Its beautiful magic but gathering and labelling >1000 images for training has been somethn interesting. I'll keep ya's updated maybe. Anyways, RC car is next. I can make engineering my hobby again

I hate how 2FA has become more popular and now all these apps are ONLY using biometrics or a pin or whatever. What do you think the 2 stands for??? Stop scanning my face without asking a password! Or also, don't let me type in a pin to bypass a password?? Wtf??

People often ask me how to know for sure if an image was created by artificial intelligence. So I marked in the attached photo (in the red circles) some clues that make me suspect that it's a fabricated photo, although it's not possible to say with absolute certainty in this case.

My university using AI generated photos in their advertisements? They either dont think their own art department is good enough, or they dont think genAI is bad. Something you really love to see at a company charging thousands per semester

An advertisement for registration titled "Ready, Set, Register" with an obviously AI generated photo

For over a year, the Biden admin has been pretending to be working for a ceasefire & for increasing humanitarian aid in Gaza, all while arming & supporting Israel's genocide there. In their closing days, they are no longer pretending. May this monstrosity haunt them forever.
