The Normal Monster Club has a cover!! I'm so excited that Generous Press chose @avaeerys.bsky.social for this project. She really captured the essence of these characters and the weird sapphic horroromance vibes of this book. And the typography and layout by @beccafoxdesign.bsky.social are 👩‍🍳 💋 .

Hey all!! Check this out! It's a chimera of fiction, poetry, and short tabletop games. It looks like such a fun, funky little book! And at the helm are some super cool people! I'm super excited to get my copy!!

This time last year, I envisioned doing an end of year retrospective on my first year as co-host of On The Record. Sadly, the show was canceled in October (and I was let go). But we broadcast some great stories! And I want to look back at some of them!

'On the Record' signs off with reminisces and thanks

After more than nine years, On the Record signs off. Thank you to our listeners, and to everyone who trusted us with your ideas, stories and to amplify the work you do for Maryland, and for Baltimore.

"if you live against your grain to appease a word, then the only person who benefits is no person at all." I wish more people understood how much we get a say in who we are and what we do in our lives, in so many aspects of our lives, not just gender stuff. tapas.io/episode/3755...

Read this, last night, cover to cover after it was gifted to me. I really enjoyed it! Actually haven't read a whole book in one sitting in a long time (it's really short). Kinda miffed to find the intro about stolen sapphic letters was fiction. That felt kinda irresponsible. But the story was fun!

When I first wrote this book, I was maybe 2 years into my transition. Now that I've finally gotten to this point in posting it I'm 5.5 years in. I've made so many changes to this convo that it feels like present me talking with past me. And I love it for that. tapas.io/episode/3749...

COLOR!! Issy's back story was a MAJOR last minute add (as in, I wrote it a month ago, where as most of the book was written three years ago...kinda stressed about it) but I was SO excited when I realized that I could use color!! While I like it conceptually, I get so tired of b/w.
