House at the end of my block is on a dead end and on a pond. Easy walk to two buses that go downtown. About to be on sale. Incredible location.
If you can't trust jalapeño peppers you can't trust anything.
Getting rid of Ragstock and calling it North Loop spoiled the character of the neighborhood.
A North Loop resident wrote to the city to complain that approving outdoor dining at the Putt Shack would spoil the character of the neighborhood.
What's a random spinoff of a popular show or movie that could make a compelling show or movie? A movie about Kramer and Neuman from Seinfeld but when they were friends as kids.

I get that we were double whammied on factors largely outside of anyone’s control (at least in real time) but United Airline’s poor communication around simply canceling our flight and leaving us stranded at 1am was disappointing.
Flight finally cancelled last night around 1am. Made a hotel reservation but got there and they didn’t have a room despite the reservation so we found another worse hotel. Flying home tomorrow now and moving to a different hotel. I flew too close to the sun travel wise these past few weeks it seems.
This flight that was supposed to land 20 minutes ago is now apparently finally going to start boarding in 15 minutes and I’ll believe it when I see it.
It’s sad to me that Weird Al never did a version of Ozzy’s Mr. Crowley about Mr. Firley from Three’s Company.
It cost $44 to go to the top of the Empire State Building. It’s insane to me that there isn’t some kind of package deal where for like $2000 they give you a harness and a gorilla suit and you scale up the outside.
Stadium review: Madison Square Garden. The let you keep the cap to your water bottle. 10/10
So many Americans would never believe this but we are staying in a hotel about 10 blocks from Madison Square Garden and the area between the arena and our hotel might be the safest place in the country.
Phish is playing tour year based setlists so far on this run. Last night was their 93rd show at MSG so they played a ‘93 tour based setlist. Tonight they will presumably play a ‘94 based setlist. This was the set last time I saw them play a “94 tour setlist.
@mikelowetpt.bsky.social any predictions on what I’ll see at MSG tonight? Last night was a blast and we have much better seats tonight.
Paying respects to 1990s me tonight and tomorrow by seeing Phish.
The train from Newark Airport stops at Newark Penn Station before going on to New York Penn Station.
This show on Netflix called Beef isn't even a tiny bit about cows.
Not exactly the same but I remember my dad walking in on me singing the Violent Femmes “Why can’t I get just one fuck” at the top of my lungs and just took one look and walked away.
Potentially fun prompt: What was the first piece of music you bought for yourself knowing your parents wouldn't approve? Mine was "The Downward Spiral." Picked up cassette on a trip to a Dewey Beach music store. Had heard "Closer" on MTV (where the "fucks" were muted) and wanted in.
