Art has no inherent value and detail is only as important as the emotional impact it has. It doesn't matter how long it took and doesn't even necessitate the artist be "good". It just has to hit someone the right way. For this reason I think its important to remember the uniqueness in every "voice".

Sometimes I'd see people with really advanced, intricate, complex, etc, art styles react to simpler art the same way normal people react to their "fancier" art, and sometimes say it's hard for them to draw in those kinds of simpler styles and I never quite fully understood that
