i've developed a genius way to beat the broad street cameras. it's called not speeding.
i swear there's a machine somewhere that randomly matches former NBA role players with hot takes and feeds them into social media algorithms. like why all of a sudden am i seeing that olden polynice has serious questions about the Sixers starting five? how does that occur?
Even as someone who's a little Jaylen Brown skeptical...I think you gotta draw a clear line between guys like Brown and other high-usage stars who don't grade out well analytically like Westbrook and Banchero. When Brown is off the ball you have to guard him. That makes a major difference
My feeling on the Knicks is the same feeling I had after Denver's title run. Ppl focus too much on one dominant playoff run and disregard all prior evidence. The Knicks were an excellent-but-not-dominant team before the 2026 playoffs. And I think that's what they'll be moving forward.
Still can't wrap my mind around the fact that the last game Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown played together -- after a decade of blinding success -- was a blowout playoff loss...to the freaking Sixers. And ever since then we've been in the upside down realm
King James 🤝 This King
Meet Joey Abel, the Delco native who sunburned LeBron into his back. He was in Sea Isle when the idea occurred to him. “I was like, ‘How can I get a LeBron James jersey as fast as possible?’ And that’s where my mind went.” Abel has no plans to apply aloe vera: www.inquirer.com/sixers/meet-...

This Delco man sunburned LeBron James’ jersey into his back in Sea Isle. He called it an act of ‘Philly toughness’
Joey Abel's passion for the Sixers runs hot.

The choice tree here was basically: Broome+Walker...keep the pick, no KCP KCP+Broome...keep the pick, lose Walker KCP+Walker...trade the pick, lose Broome A little curious which 2nd round pick this is. But I think they made the right choice
The Philadelphia 76ers are trading C/F Johni Broome and a second-round pick to the Los Angeles Clippers for cash considerations, sources tell ESPN. The deal allows the 76ers to stay under both first and second aprons while signing LeBron James and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
Luke Kennard led the NBA in three-point shooting *and* made The Booker Prize longlist in the same calendar year? That has to be a first www.bbc.com/news/article...
Anyone know where LeBron James (highly skilled bballer) is playing next season?
LeBron is clearly living in New York to ease the demand-side pressure on housing affordability in the Delaware Valley! Already a community hero! Thank YOU KING!
If you're the kinda person who knows LeBron actually isn't the first forward from St. Vincent-St. Mary to play for the Sixers... You deserve this
According to the NBA transaction page, LeBron James has officially signed with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Turns out building a team good enough to beat the Celtics...but not one good enough to thwart the Knicks title run...was exactly what the Sixers needed to do to get LeBron James.
My too-early Sixers predictions: 1. They will score a ton in transition and at the line, which will give them a high offensive floor night to night. 2. The offensive ceiling depends on how willing/accurate the non-Maxey starters are as shooters. Teams will help off all of them to varying degrees
Games played the last 6 seasons... Joel Embiid: 281 Anthony Davis: 279
Me when Zach Lowe says he's not dismissing possibility of Embiid trade
Just walked to ACME and back wearing a Sixers shirt. 7 people either yelled "Sixers" or "LeBron" at me...including the ACME security guard who lifted up his uniform to reveal he was wearing Sixers gear underneath lol.
It's not concern trolling to say there's overlap and fit issues with Embiid, Maxey, Brown, and VJ. But if LeBron is healthy...it will work. He's the greatest problem solver and talent blender in NBA history.
Just thought about Jim Lynam and Marc Jackson breaking down how LeBron James impacted the first half of a game in late January.
The Lakers were +11.3 per 100 possessions with LeBron on and Luka/Reaves off last year. That's 93rd percentile. Elite. You can't ask LeBron to be the hub of your team every night anymore. And the Sixers won't need to. But it's crazy how much he still impacts winning.
i don't care if it violates every provision of the CBA...bring him home
I really thought LeBron would take a final victory lap in a familiar city. Low risk. High reward. Easy narrative. Going to Philly is a genuine risk. But it speaks to the guy's competitive instincts. He wants a challenge. And getting this franchise to the finals? That's a freaking challenge.
Sixers ticket reps watching all those unanswered emails suddenly pop up with reply messages...
For the validation and culmination of the Process to be a title won by LeBron James is like the perfect purgatory outcome for Spike Eskin. It's almost eerie.
they announced that we got LeBron over the PA speakers at the Acme lmao
Mr. LeBron James...you have lived a full and varied life. But have you seen a man eat a rotisserie chicken on an industrial pier? Have you met an Elmo who drums? Have you scaled a greased pole atop the shoulders of other men?
The Unstoppable Force of LeBron's longevity versus the Immovable Object of the Sixers being the Sixers They're calling it the showdown of the century
