Avivo Village is a tiny home community designed to be a dignified, safe alternative to outdoor encampments. I was proud to secure $850,000 in federal funding to expand their Chicago Ave center. I'll keep fighting to invest in affordable housing for the folks who need it most. 💪🏽

Thank you for the invitation, and thank you for your efforts to address unsheltered homelessness in our city. The work of Avivo is transformative, and I know our colleagues from Windsor left inspired.

The delegation from Windsor not only met with Avivo staff, but also met @ward12.minneapolismn.gov and @mayorjacobfrey.bsky.social, as well as @ilhanmn.bsky.social - it was a huge day at Avivo yesterday.
