So this is BlueSky, hey? Editor In Chief of Avrysports.com, Game Over Network co-founder. Contributor to: The Hockey News, The Oil Rig, 3rd Intermission Pod. I'm also Mr. Vain. Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/avrysports

NBC never said he'd be at a desk every week and nor did I *EVER* expect that, I assumed nearly every segment he did would have been pretaped but I think it is fair to have assumed he'd have done more than *ONE* interview with Mike Tirico that got chopped up 100 times. #NBA

Michael Jordan is "not expected" to return to NBC as a special contributor for the network's NBA coverage this upcoming season. awfulannouncing.com/nbc/michael-...

1) That book was a wild read. 2) Why I laugh when that "Draymond is the modern day Rodman" comes up or really when ANYONE is compared to Dennis. You don't have players today who are this eccentric in the modern NBA on and off the floor. Are they global figures? Yes but not eccentric like this.

Not sure how many lacrosse fans are on BlueSky but uhhh the National Lacrosse League is in an interesting situation, free agency has been pushed back because *two* teams are in limbo: the Ottawa Black Bears and the Philadelphia Wings, and we don't have an answer on their 2026-27 future yet.

Welp, there it is, the 2025/2026 Ottawa RedBlacks have lost the most games in a row *EVER* in CFL history with 15 straight. Two more losses away from passing the 1948-49 Hamilton Wildcats, who lost 16 straight, the most in the history of professional Canadian football.

Late night thought: Yeah, the Ottawa RedBlacks are 0-8 and have lost *14 straight games* to tie the mark of the 1994 Shreveport Pirates, the most ever in CFL history, if you fall down the Pirates rabbit hole they make the RedBlacks struggles look like a minor blip lol

I have to admit I gotta laugh at how easy it just *blend in* in Edmonton because I was on the train here and ran into a friend who used to play in the CFL and NFL who told me he was heading to Vegas later this week to do dinner with Dan Marino who he played two seasons with in Miami lol

I just realized 2026 marks *10 years* since the NFL returned to LA, and next generations will not handle the fact that they didn't have a team for over 20 years after the Rams and Raiders left, and LA was used as a market to threaten to move your team to for that entire time to get a new stadium.
