Update on the situation at Lochiel AZ. A fierce band of protectors is engaging in a tree sit and STOPPING the forces of destruction and evil. 3 days and counting. If you are in the Tucson area, please consider going down and providing support. DM for details & supplies list if you are so moved. 💚

A 200+ year old cottonwood tree standing tall. There is a person in the crotch of the tree preventing the destruction of this Grandmother. A large piece of equipment is on the border wall stalled out by the protest. Stark contrast between love and hate in one photo.

🚨Last stand at Lochiel AZ for 200 year old cottonwoods - HAPPENING NOW. If you can drive down & support activists on the ground bearing witness you are most welcome. Border wall violence comes to a serene ghost town.

Scored a gem at the adorable Little Free Library in Algoma WI that's shaped like a lighthouse. I have to read it outside because it's a bit mildewed and making me sneeze.

Book cover of Harry Cat's Pet Puppy by George Selden. Has a drawing of a fat and happy cat and a sad looking dog.

My biggest challenges with playing online scrabble are: 1. I want to make visually pleasing patterns 2. I get enamored with a word and play it regardless of strategy Loving CrossPlay from NYT. still free and no annoyances like other platforms. 🤓

Glad to be able to help a dear friend with cancer for a few months. She's got a major surgery coming up later this month & other friends are telling her not to worry. Friends: don't discount people's fears. It's disrespectful and not loving. 😢

Elk climb trees. I learned this from a naturalist at Rocky Mtn Natl Park when she said that afternoon was the best time to see them because thats when they come down from the trees.
