My grandmother was an Irish immigrant. She worked her first years here as a roadie for Johnny Cash. I've got a few things after she passed, one of my favorites is a signed picture of them, with a nice note from Cash on the back. Just hung it up in my living room and got flooded with memories:)
I am realizing how much my imagery comes from the location of my upbringing. I will always struggle to illustrate with words, the beauty of this region.

I love accents. I don’t even care where it’s from. I have a very neutral American accent after having to do years of speech therapy when I was little (due to an impediment). I don’t sound like my friends or family and that’s kinda lame.

I’ve gotten a few comments from strangers over the last few months that I have a sweet voice. I don’t really know how to feel about that. I believe most people don’t like their voice. I’m going to try and learn to love it, I think.
