Not a real professor, but I used to play one in everyday life. No, it's not a Cuban, goddamn it. It's Dominican. Stop the world; I want to get off. I block all engagement farming accounts, no matter their stripe.

As a chronically single person who "isn't interested in dating," I'll tell you I would be *very* interested in dating if the modern methods of it weren't so goddamned demoralizing and dehumanizing. Being solitary is infinitely more pleasant than subjecting oneself to the shitshow of dating now.

Solo living, solo travel, and solo dining are all being embraced as more adults are choosing to remain single. Many Americans aren't interested in dating, and being single is a symbol of autonomy. n.pr/4bjMd1P

I just awoke from a dream about a catastrophically leaky water supply pipe uunder the sink in my rental apartment late on a Sunday evening. I've been a a homeowner for 20 years. There must be anxiety somewhere in my life that's creeping out in strange ways.

I'm a regular at a semi-rural dive bar in a college town in WI and I'm being honest when I tell you this is overblown. Yeah, there are some *heavy* drinkers and sloppy idiots. It's normal to have 3 drinks at social functions without batting an eye. But most people are chill and mostly sober.

I'm not sure people who haven't lived in wisconsin truly appreciate HOW drunk it is there. I've never seen anything like it before or since. Just total normalization of being hammered. Helluva place to land as an 18 year old college kid.

Now you all know my position on leaf blowers ("The thing about leaf blowers is that everyone who uses them should die."), but the pro tree service gugs are here and I *do* give that one use case a pass. Nevertheless, fuck me, they're loud as hell.
