Avatar the Last Airbender is one of the best examples of The Star Wars Effect we've had. They should have let that original series be a well-remembered classic instead of diluting it with cargo-cult attempts to recapture lightning in a bottle, so now popular memory of it is tempered with shit.
My long-standing theory (and resentment) about CGI is that its rapid adoption was specifically boosted by a deluded belief that it would accomplish what AI-boosters dream about: the elimination of illustrative animation labor for a system that can be piloted by now-deskilled workers.

This has been studied quite a bit, the solar panels create a sort of greenhouse effect for the plants underneath them while also generating energy which feels like it should be cheating but is real and literally only has upsides.
