It's not just software. John Deere also has designed the tractor in such a way that you have to buy their nuts and bolts. My friend had to spend triple for a simple bolt on his zero turn mower.

The problem: Modern tractors are basically giant computers. If a sensor fails during harvest, a farmer can replace the broken part, but the tractor still won’t run. The manufacturer locks the software. The repair has to be “authorized” w/proprietary software that only an authorized dealer has. 2/4

Farmers take pride in being able to fix their equipment. If your combine breaks down out in the middle of the hayfield, you need to be able to fix it in the field. Farmers pay so much for farm equipment. They don’t have the money to pay some company to fix it. VOTE @joshturek4iowa.bsky.social 🚜

I strongly disagree. A "no" vote on Blanche is ABSOLUTELY a step in the right direction to support Epstein survivors. Blanche violated the survivors YET AGAIN with how he handled the files. It's a slap in the face to survivors, women, and children to move forward with Blanche.
