This thing is so sweet…. Finally getting to play thru DS/3DS and other console games that I never had. AYN Thor. Amazing retro emulator handheld
Death stranding 2 feels overrated with review scores of 9s and 10s (and I say this as a big DS fan) Glad to see a lot more nuanced takes in this Reddit thread from hardcore fans www.reddit.com/r/DeathStran...
From the DeathStranding community on Reddit: No spoilers how would you guys rate death stranding 2 compared to the first one

@garnettlee.bsky.social do you ever consider podcasting again on the regular? Maybe from an investor/game biz perspective? You and John D are the people I miss hearing from the most
ive been on a hunt to figure out what games support 480hz (or above). here's what i've found so far any game that has a fully unlocked frame rate works any other games that come to mind?
Noticing that many PC games from the early to mid 2010s have an arbitrary limit of 200fps ie: - doom 2016 - mirrors edge catalyst - battlefield 4
A thread of thoughts on radiance fields, from my keynote at 3DV: Radiance fields have had 3 distinct generations. First was NeRF: just posenc and a tiny MLP. This was slow to train but worked really well, and it was unusually compressed --- The NeRF was smaller than the images.
This open-air quest 3 facial interface is truly the convertible, drop-top, “feel and smell the air around you” accessory of VR
Hey VR/MR devs 👋 We need your 📈 DATA 📉 for our Reboot Blue talk; 'The game has changed: VR games marketing in 2025' - All data you provide is completely anonymous - We'll post a summary of the findings after Reboot - Should only take you 5 mins - We'd be very appreciative - Form below 👇
Splats are great, but wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could transform them into the stuff of dreams? Introducing our #CVPR2025 paper ✨Morpheus✨! Morpheus lets you change the shape and appearance of 3D Gaussian splats with a few words! nianticlabs.github.io/morpheus/ (1/6)
end-to-end latency test for moonlight streaming from my PC (shown on the monitor) to me Steam Deck Total latency at 60fps is around a frame (16ms). Even less so for 90fps. Feels fantastic for playing with a controller
Why doesn’t valve put any effort into making Steam Link as good as moonlight streaming? Such a shame! It’s a core part of the Steam deck experience
Ai is great case I can ask it “Yo bud ffmpeg command compress video to 720p 30fps make it good looking but under 30 mb no audio h264 mp4 stat homie keep it succinct” and get a perfect result
I just got a phone call from someone advertising a GDC event... wtf!
I put together a "1 click" utility that converts Fujifilm MPO files -> SBS -> Spatial Photos for Apple Vision Pro It combines CLI utilities from Stereoautoalign and Spatial Video Tools to batch process a series of image github.com/azadbal/MPO-...

The camera’s here and I’m lovin it! Fantastic camera baseline, optical zoom, surprisingly decent quality in low light, a 3D display for preview, auto-alignment during capture, and a satisfying flip up/down mechanism for turning it on—15 year old tech! Will work on converting to spatial photos!
Currently dealing with two opinions at odds with each other 1. meta horizon worlds is cancer and is killing the quest vr dev ecosystem 2. meta horizon worlds is the reason why meta is subsidizing the headsets, which is how the quest dev vr exist in the first place Thoughts?

The reason I’m in Bsky is because I missed seeing a lot of your faces on Twitter Glad to see that there is a place where a lot of the vr world congregated outside of twitter
New 3D scan from my Ruins of Ani series “Monastery of the Hripsimian Virgins” Links to view/download a mesh and Gaussian splat bellow 👇
Found a neat use case of my Vision Pro: previewing 3D prints before printing them. Visualizing the scale of prints is always hard—not anymore! The workflow is super easy. Export model as USDZ from blender and open it in Vision Pro.
Church of Saint Gregory (Exterior) - Ruins of Ani gaussian splat to be viewed in VR. Gracia ai link below
btw - this is what a photogrammetry project looks like you have a whole bunch of photos (in this case 1180 images from a DSLR and a drone) where you compare high contrast features against one another to find shared tie points, which make up the point cloud that you see next, for meshing
btw I make all my 3D scans 1:1 scale to explore in VR btw viewable as gaussian splats... coming soon!
A few year ago, my wife and I went to Turkey to 3D scan the ruins of Ani, the medieval capital of Armenia I’m finally starting to publish my work—downloadable via sketchfab for free! Links below 👇
