I walked out of a mobile shop today because the sales assistant didn't know and couldn't be told that a home router that can connect to the internet does not need a SIM card if all you want to do is use it as a router between devices. I was rude to walk out, but I'd have lost it if I'd have stayed.

Live in the UK, Sometimes called Steev, but more often "Where do you think you're going?" Take photos, sometimes people like them enough to buy them :) No time for sport or politics. All round miserable twat. Often seen cursing printers.
So far so good with DaVinci Resolve. Managed a simple edit that I needed with minimal foul language being deployed. Day off tomorrow so may take a look at some of the fades and multiple track options.
Started going to the gym a couple of times each week - nothing mad, bit of everything each time. Started in November (determined not to join a gym at New Year) and now 7kg (1 stone) down. Pretty pleased with that. At the current rate I'll be at a weigh my Dr would be happy it in around 5 years :)
Seeing as Cyberlink Power Director 365 has decided it can't handle the video from my dash cam I have now installed DaVinci Resolve. Steep learning curve ahead.
The Amazon delivery they made on a day we aren't open . . . Above our door is a sign appx 30ft X 3ft. Above the adjacent property is a sign of similar size. How hard could it have been to have found The Training Society as per delivery address? Too hard it seems. Luckily we have good neighbours.
Late cancellation of the 3 day forklift course I should have been teaching so now that our warehouse is going to be unused until this time next week it seemed like a good opportunity to get the floor painted. Wish I'd remembered to do a full 'before'. All students & machines must now levitate.
How hard can it be to find a simple cross stitch pattern that will fit into a 9cm diameter hoop at 14 count? Seemingly very hard.
A few of my recent images from the recent Spitfire events at #tatenhill #photography #spitfire All available as A5, A4 or A3 folksy.com/shops/azimut...
I should be promoting my photos. I should be, but the heart isn't in it.
My work Amazon profile has us down as not being open at weekends as there's no one in the building. Guess which major on line selling platform has sent some poor courier to do today? Why ask for opening time profiles if you ignore them?
Sometimes I go to reply to someone random person's post then take a look at their profile and realise a block is a better option.
Just tried ordering an Indian takeaway. 1 insists on you creating an account to order, 1 wants me to pay a service charge (what service - I'm picking it up), 2 are permanently closed. Chinese it is then.
Cooking a meal for the person you love is an honour and a pleasure.
#photography Your opinions please folks do you prefer the full reflection, the half cut off reflection or the single coin only? I'm looking at putting one of them into club competition but can't make my mind up.
My forklift student for Mon - Wed next week cancelled today. Sorry mate - you're still paying. T&Cs are clear. I'm going in and if they don't show up then I'm going to make good use of the time and paint the warehouse floors and walls so they've got time to dry.
Bought some old coins recently - did some macro work today. Farthing (1/4 of a penny), half penny and a penny.
I sometimes (maybe once every few weeks) have 'wrap of the day' at McD. For £2 it isn't a bad deal and comparatively healthy. Went in a few days back and you can only order it on the app. Screw you McD - KFC popcorn chicken it is then for a sneaky treat snack. Do not force customers to use apps.
Perhaps I'm wrong - but I don't ever recall seeing a post on SM of a bloke photographing himself in a public toilet (restroom).
The problem with being insular is when you really need someone to talk to - there isn't anyone.
There are plans to reduce funding to the Lovell telescope, more widely known as Jodrell Bank :( I created this a couple of years ago and it is on sale in my little corner of Folksy should you wish to get a print. folksy.com/find/item/85...
The crows I normally feed each day are pissed with me. Came in very late after a 15 hour shift and forgot to put breakfast out for them. They were not, and are not happy, mainly cawing from adjacent trees.

Helping a mate out tomorrow - driving a baby 29 seat coach for a stag pub crawl - Should be fun eh?
At what point will people realise complaining about something on here does bugger all good? If someone has parked in a cycle lane, report it. If some muppet has just done the world's most stupid overtake report it. If you're putting it on here you have evidence - submit it.
Today 1 of my students - early 20s complained about being cold in the classroom and had her mum drive over to deliver a fleece top for her.
And to top my day off, I've had a 17 year old girl on my First Aid at Work course tell me that men can get pregnant now. I tried quoting Monty Python but it was lost on her. We're doomed.
This is an excerpt from an official e-mail I got today "engineers needed to do it which hads now been do" For crying out loud.
