São Paulo Never Stops

Above the rush, everything seems contained. But the city resists stillness. Movement leaks through in color and gesture, breaking the illusion of a frozen moment. This is not a single frame; it’s a fragment of something ongoing.

Mehrshad

Mehrshad Shahidi At 19, Mehrshad Shahidi was already a gifted chef at Boote café-restaurant in Arak and a hospitality student. He filmed himself cooking with joy and precision; those clips earned him the nickname “Iran’s Jamie Oliver.” An athlete with medals in gymnastics, swimming, volleyball and more, he was energetic, curious, and full of life. On 26 October 2022, during the nationwide protests, security forces beat him with batons to the head. He died a day before his 20th birthday. The hands that once plated food with care never cooked again.

A Flame Remains

No matter how cold the winter gets, the fire within us can keep burning. Even in the darkest nights, a small flame of hope can guide us toward brighter days. In this moment I captured, I felt that passion, hope, and the belief in tomorrow can survive even the coldest seasons. Sometimes, all we need is to protect that inner flame and keep it alive until the light returns.

The Last Golden Light

A quiet moment between the fading sun and the endless fields. Holding a few wildflowers, she watches the last golden light fall across the horizon, as if trying to keep a little piece of summer before it disappears. Some moments are too beautiful to let go. 🌾
