Had this Bee balm wild flower pop up last year but wasn't part of the wild flower seeds we planted a year before. Musta seeded well cause this year we have quite a few and I love them. Late blooming and it's popping off right now.

I don't do favorites but if I was left with only two artists to listen to. I the Mighty and Rise Against would probably be my picks. Just amazing albums one after another.

Some treat web accessibility as a checklist to meet legal or technical requirements. But at its core, web accessibility is about people, not code or requirements. Web accessibility is about making sure people with disabilities can use websites, apps, and digital technologies.

Living in high elevations we don't get high temperatures often. It's 100f/38c today and I'm headed higher into the mountains screw this!

i'm firmly of the belief that everyone should have a creative hobby. even if you aren't "good" at it. it keeps your critical thinking skills engaged, it reminds you that you're still capable of learning and growing and improving at things, it helps you connect to other people. you gotta make stuff!

Wife was mentioning Bonnie Tyler's passing as we were talking about Footloose. So I had to load up some of her songs, now it's turned into a 80s pop/rock vibe going on in my house this morning.

Unlock a CSS super power with named grid lines! You can even combine with grid template areas for some truly amazing control over complex designs. Read Ryans article for my favorite layout wrapper technique. You can also watch @kevinpowell.co go over it in this video. youtu.be/c13gpBrnGEw

Throwback Thursday - Out of the dozen or so websites I have designed and develop from scratch, one I made back in '08 for @kcsufm.bsky.social has still been one of my favorites. Designed in PS, two column table layout, flash audio player, with a WordPress blog RSS parsed for the homepage news.

Website for KCSU student radio station. Cracked concreate wall pattern background, header with blurred CD cases behind the logo, destressed patters used as borders around the Listen Now and side bar information.

I don't think some of you understand... I've been gently nudging Kevin to try GSAP for almost 6 years. Jason comes along and is like hey guy. /s This honestly brings me such joy seeing Kevin teach GSAP. Everyone involved in the CodeTV challenge just made me remember why I got into this field too.

We've been experimenting with CSS´s upcoming Random() function to see what it can do. In the mean time we found a few browser crashes and a way to implement random-item() before it actually lands. Best viewed in Polypane 29+ (For now!) polypane.app/blog/experim...

One of my kiddos has started eating peanut butter toast. They eat peanut butter side down and I'm just now realizing I've been doing it wrong all this time!
