This is how far America has regressed under #Trumpism: I just watched an old Murder, She Wrote episode from season 1 (first aired on network TV in Oct. 1984 -- on a Sunday!) set in a San Francisco club with drag queens. No one bats an eye at this and (spoiler!) it's barely a tertiary plot device.
