Irritated Historian Sunday: I was all hyped to listen to the Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remake shanty collection, because to my delight Ubisoft brought back Sean Dagher and the rest of the crew from the 2013 game to record new songs. And then I see it: The Wellerman.

Really fun episode this week. My character finally got that first hit of backstory!

I'm very, very glad I pulled the trigger on those ECF tickets back in 2021. Giannis will always be an all-time Wisconsin sports legend.

Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader is an incredible RPG, and I finally got around to finishing it today. Took several restarted playthroughs before I finally found a build that I loved and felt comfortable with the combat system, but this was an incredible game.

It took a couple of weekends of work but I've finally uncoupled myself from OneDrive. 15+ years of accumulated files have been culled, and I'm now running on genuinely 100% self hosted cloud storage.

Hello, old friend. It's that time again.

Took a real late night and then another afternoon of tweaking, but the end result is a Starfield ship that I'm actually very proud of how it came out. I'm slowly getting better at sculpting and not falling into my old tendencies. For a class B, this ship can do it all.

I was woefully unprepared for how miserable dusting my Lego collection was going to be.

Alright with Crimson Desert behind me it's time to get back into Starfield. I've got my mods cut down to a reasonable 115 for the moment and am about 12 hours into my Free Lanes/Terran Armada start. Sucks that I have to start from scratch again but that's life in Bethesda world.

I will never understand why Starfield's art team insisted on making space blue. Space is not blue.

After 120 hours of game time, I've finally finished the main story of Crimson Desert. One of the most intoxicating open world games I've ever played. Story was meh, but the open world was worth it. Still potentially another 100+ hours to go to see and do everything.

Midwest Gaming Classic was a great time. We had so much fun last year we decided to turn it into a full blown GameStop reunion for everyone I worked with back in Houghton. There were 9 of us, legendary weekend. 7571 may be gone, but store family endures.
