Back to drawing. With inktober coming up I figured I'd better do *something* Heavily influenced by the incredible Spit Blossoms on IG. This ain't near to their caliber, but we all start somewhere!
Caught up with some old friends today. We went to the local botanical garden and did some art with dollar store supplies.

I never thought I'd have a grudge against taking naps but here we are. I'm so sick of having to take naps. Some days all I do is sleep or spend my time trying not to sleep, which doesn't translate to doing things. I can't safely drive when I'm trying to not fall asleep, right? #chronicillness
One of my pain doctors is leaving the clinic I'm at 😭 The cost of living around here is unbelievable if a doctor can't afford it.
Maybe, instead of disability becoming "cool" we're finally shedding some of the shame, stigma, and hatred that was taught to us by the previous generations. 🧵

Ahh I'm really struggling with this one. The main character is a show host? So the narrator has that jaunty showman pronunciation. Which would be fine in moderation, but it's *everything* and it's so emphasized that his volume changes drastically within a sentence.

I have a new #dermatologist and I went in for a rash on my inner elbow. When she announced that it was eczema, she was briefly at a loss for words because I was like "okay! Great." Her: ? Me: it's not mysterious, rare, or weird. I'm fine if it's #eczema. AND I don't even need new meds or lotions.
