Told there’s nothing happening with #CBJ on the Kirill Marchenko front, despite rumors out of Russia to the contrary. Not saying it can’t change later this summer. But my understanding is #CBJ have not had calls on Marchenko since earlier this summer.

I’m watching MHL games of Gleb Pugachyov. He takes a lot of penalties and not just the boarding/charging type ones. Going to have to learn to be more disciplined if MSL is going to trust him especially late in games and if he doesn’t produce a lot of offense

I expect Habs to make a significant add, but don’t HAVE to. They have one of the most talented, deep young roster and prospect pool combined with an envious cap structure. Habs can afford to wait for the (nearly) perfect opportunity to add the right player at the right price at the right moment.

The whining, complaining, criticizing, whatever just needs to stop. Otherwise maybe you need to take a look in the mirror. Personally I think Hage going back shows true character and maturity. I think some fans could use more of both.

You can hate on Hughes all you want for not being MORE active at the deadline or free agency. But just wait. If you haven't discovered yet, you will soon that he is the best GM #Habs have had since maybe Sam Pollock. There is no team in the NHL better set up for long-term success!

I still can’t believe any Habs fans want Robertson or think there’s any chance Hughes would pay 1 player double what anyone else is making and think it won’t affect the room. Even if it doesn’t, using all the saved cap space on a player that won’t solve the 2C or RD issue makes zero sense to me!

Habs fans need to read this! Pay special attention to this quote: “They are major players right now but they’re not going to be stupid,” the aforementioned source said. I see some suggestions out there that “stupid” would be the politest way to describe them.

I am never more grateful fans don't run Habs than this time of year. Fans are ready to trade any/all of Hage ,Zharovsky, Reinbacher, Pugachyov, etc. Yes Habs have holes. They always will. No team is perfect. When Gorton & Hughes took over the goal was to be contenders for a long time. Not 3-5 years.
