An old still life watercolour and a very odd one. I'm not a great fan of taxidermy but I borrowed the stuffed owl as something to draw. The strange tall vase was being thrown out by a church and the orange vase is particularly hideous (it was thrown off a shelf by a sensitive poltergeist I think)

Watercolour sketch from the banks of the Cam (from an archive folder). I'm not even sure if there's any water left in the Cam during this heatwave. I haven't been down to have a look (too hot to go anywhere)

Watercolour sketch on the banks of the Cam. There's a duck swimming along bottom left with her chicks, just indicated as a white shape as she paddled by.

Cambridge UK street scene using watercolour and acrylic ink (with a dip pen). I've often painted this row of buildings in Trinity Street. The complexity and diversity is wonderful. I think this one was sold.

One of my flower paintings from the '80s, scanned from a film photo of the original which was taken through the frame glass so there are reflections. It was sold a long time ago and I wonder if it's still on someone's wall?

Watercolour of irises, ranunculus (I think) and a shell which has appeared in many paintings - maybe more in the future).

Very old ink and wash sketch from about forty years ago showing Southsea boating lake. Our son is one of the children fishing for sea creatures (putting them back in of course)

All the nauseating AI mini-stories on Instagram with horses rescuing nestlings etc are making me puke to the point where I may stop using it completely. Please don't let them infest this place.
