My dad is a cartoonist and in the 80s he worked with Eclipse, then the third largest comic publisher. Every now and then we'd get a big box with a copy of everything they published inside, much of it aimed at adult audiences. Ever the flake, my dad just left it out for 5-year-old me to go through.
