I went to an old church to watch a presentation, played kazoo with Nancy Pelosi, dressed up as a badger, danced in the street, animal control showed up, and then we had smores with a bunch of really cool staff. 10/10, no notes. Excellent @archive.org event.

We've officially hit 50% of our funding goal on dotfurry.org! There's still a long way to go, but we're in awe at the generous support so far - and not just in terms of money. Everyone has been super positive, eager to collaborate, and generally just excellent!

You may know me from the funny leg lamp. Now, for my next trick, I'll... *checks notes* help make a furry top-level domain name. Yes, seriously! ICANN has approved us for the Applicant Support Program. If we can scrape together enough funding, we can actually get .furry in the 2026 gTLD round!

You heard right! We're working on getting .furry to be the next big TLD! We're backed by the non-profit @pawprintprototyping.org and will be by furries, for furries. ⚠️ But we need your help! ⚠️ Support us today to help make this a reality and to get a .furry domain of your own www.dotfurry.org

I took more cursed thermal images with my thermal-thermal camera contraption at #FC2025! I also exported the raw images this time, as some of them have neat details that were lost when printed. The box-o-gen and balloon dog in particular have some great details that got scrunched pretty hard

A grid of 9 thermal images printed on receipt paper. The images are nearly unintelligible. Some include fursuits with glowing hollow empty eyes. Some show what appear to be normal people. One shows two giant inflatable starfish dancing.A grid of 16 thermal images printed on receipt paper. The images are nearly unintelligible. Here are a few more shots from the thermal-thermal camera contraption at #mff2024. In hindsight, I probably should have asked people if they wanted to be tagged and what their handles were. Giving them a crappy print out and disappearing was more fun though lol

Three very low quality prints of thermal images. One depicts a top-down view of a pile of fursuiters under the fishbowl. I think. Another depicts three inflatable Marios in the lobby of the DESCC. I managed to throw together a little contraption just in time for #MFF2024 - a thermal camera with a built-in thermal printer! It's been working surprisingly well so far, and the reactions have been great when people get thermal prints of their thermal pics

A 3d printed camera with a metallic lens, an integrated thermal printer, and a neck strap. The camera has text printed on it which says "i'm a camera owo". The printer has googly eyes adhered to it. The printer is looking at the viewer. A dark gray anthropomorphic weasel-ish creature smiling and waving at the viewer. The creature seems nice and responsible. You should give them your credit card information. They surely will not do anything bad with it.
