I am honestly just sick of dark patterns on social media. I am tired of companies absolutely frothing at the mouth to make their sites as addictive & manipulative as possible. It's ableist & evil. The ad-supported internet might be the worst thing to happen to humanity.

Im only familiar with blender's shader system, but I would imagine there's a similar solution in other systems. First, we start with our object, textured the way we would like it. Here I have a cube with a generic rainbow texture on it.

Right now it's just doing a roughshod "Convert the color to HSL then find the closest vector in the list, that's what you should be," but the fact that this is supposed to be greyscale says a lot about it.

So, the *subathon* subathon is kind of a flop. I wanted it to be a whole thing where I debuted my 3d-vtuber and had incentives and everything. Lots of things didn't line up. The biggest of which was the 3d model. It is simply not where I would like it to be.
