Centrist panic is because Mamdani is sitting there in office saying we can have nice things while the likes of Brooks and Chait have built lucrative careers and unearned prominence on saying we can't.
I doubt that capital punishment would continue if every citizen had a chance of being chosen to do the deed, just like jury duty. Some people seem to like the vicarious thrill of an execution, but don't want to be the one to do it.
Worried that Trump’s speech might piss off Khrushev and we will all have to duck and cover.

Reading evolutionary psychology and game theory for my work on everyday freedom. The stupidest theories seem to emerge when the authors are all men. The focus on individual vs. group fitness; with "mating" success to make babies vs caring success getting them to adulthood are examples.
So nice that the Masters of the Universe have a little club. A bit of an overlap with Epstein's club. As usual, the psychologists they choose to listen to are super creepy.
