We old people were taught what was “realistic” in politics, and we still remember these lessons, but reality has changed. I was told that marijuanna would never be legalized. I was told that gay marriage would never be legalized. I was told that socialists could never win elections.
I mean, back when we were student protesters, we weren't idiots; why would our (grand)children be?
