Average but enthusiastic painter and quilter Becoming more prolific at swearing Positive and sarcastic lifestyle Struggling to reengage yet ready to get back in the fight

While cleaning out my uncle's home to sell, I collected all the cotton sheets, shirts and pjs from his home in order to make a quilt. Starching and ironing on my grandma's ironing board really connected me to the generations of ironing while watching their "stories" #quilts #crafts #sewing

Quilt blocks using men's cotton shirt and pj fabric from my uncles' home. Pattern is Feeling Cross block pattern by Bonjour Quilts.Cotton fabric I've collected while cleaning out the family home my uncle's and grandparents lived in since the 1950s. It's been ironed and starched and is ready to cut.
