Bicycles. Punk rock didn't save the world, but it should have. I try to stay on topic, but you're going to get random posts about housing, gardening, preserving/canning, dogs, and baseball.
I just don't understand the fascination with gambling. I certainly don't understand gambling on random, uncontrolled things.

The GAO says 70% of Americans receiving federal social aid work full time. That means they have jobs that don't pay enough to live on.
Rollins: "For those who love work and celebrate work and want people to work and not be on food stamps, it's a pretty big win when we've moved 5 million people off food stamps, y'all."
This is what happens when you bend the knee to Trump.
Dodgers are 0-4 since the internet said they’d never lose again lol
Is the Democratic establishment ever going to wake up? But I suppose the $27 million spent by AIPAC and Meta for Stevens was good economically for Michigan.
Shouldn't it be McClellan and Westmoreland?
This is a man who has a hard time looking in the mirror

My annual reminder that no matter how small the election, or how non-partisan it's supposed to be, ask the candidates how they are registered and how many times they voted for Trump. No Republican ever deserves your vote, even for rat catcher.
Earlier tonight, @michellegoldberg.bsky.social read *another* quote from this weirdo that reflected the same general sentiment. www.sacurrent.com/news/san-ant...
The Dodger's luxury tax stands around $190 million after acquiring Skubal. The average payroll in the league is $177 million. If you're a fan of another team what's the point of watching? If you're an owner, don't you want to stop the Dodgers inflationary spending?
Yes she would, Max. The literature about why victims return to their abusers is extensive. Maybe you should take some classes rather than abuse your wife.
Rep. Max Miller: "My former wife has claimed that during a custody exchange at my home that day, I assaulted her…If I had assaulted her, would she have offered to cook me dinner six days later?"
Ray Knight just declared his man love for his 1986 Mets teammates and he doesn't give a fuck who knows it.
Amazon - "Spend less on your kids" is a weird ad campaign but I understand the original ads, "Fuck taking care of your kids" didn't poll well with focus groups.
That would be a shame. Also, Mr. Nadella might want to consult a stylist who would make him look less like a super villain.
AI boom could falter without wider adoption, Microsoft chief Satya Nadella warns
I love how he compares losing Penn Station to saving bags of trash on the street. As I grow older, I care less and less about historic preservation because it is so often misused as a means to stop any sort of progress.
This is it boys, the platonic "New York can never get better" piece www.archpaper.com/2026/07/litt...
Musk is now back to buying elections. Campaign finance is public. Lets make this toxic to the recipients of his money. We did it with the supreme court seat in Michigan. We can do it again. These people are the enemy of civil rights, privacy, human rights & the environment.
We are watching, in real time, the biggest fuck-up by any president in the history of the United States of America.
I mean, sure, as a relatively high earner, I'm probably going to get less return than I would have from investing or than a lower earner will see, but I'm okay with that. That doesn't make it a scam.
If you're wondering what party will help you keep your Social Security benefits and which one is trying to take them away, this is a Republican on the Senate floor TODAY:
I'm still waiting for the story about how AI has materially increased the well being of humanity as a whole.
"A study done in Phoenix done by Arizona State University found data centres can increase air temperatures by up to 4 degrees Fahrenheit in downwind neighbourhoods. The waste heat given off by one data centre as it cooled itself exceeded the amount produced by 40,000 households."

This is why the west coast and the northeast need to leave the union.
“Trump has rejected disaster aid for Democratic-run states at the highest rate in the 47-year history of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.” Right now people in blue states are basically paying federal taxes as if they’re colonized territories of red states. www.politico.com/news/2026/03...
No Lies Detected. The current regime doesn’t want people to know this, especially from one of their own. The president of The United States is a liar

When Riverside County tried to implement Workday, I read the contract and thought it was a lot of BS with deliverables Workday clearly wasn't providing. Fortunately, it fell apart and only ended up costing $8 million. Also a good example of why you should never hire KPMG who recommended Workday.
In the 2010s, Workday sold itself to every major employer in the US by saying "it will cost you a lot to license and implement our platform, but it will pay for itself because you'll be able to eliminate most of your HR department through automation." Which wasn't true, but it sure did work.
Pretty sure if I was on this plane, it wouldn't be making its destination and a whole lot of us would end up no-fly lists.
Evangelist Whitney Lynn says she preaches on planes because she loves “a captive audience.” She's not alone. It's becoming a trend. If spreading your message requires listeners who can't escape, maybe it's not as compelling as you think. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/christian-...
