We harvested our onions 🌰. Rough count around 60. We really dig gardening.
I like Old Dutch chips, but some you need to change things up.
Relatively bug fee in beautiful Seven Sisters Falls tonight
Almost ready to call it a weekend, maybe a few minutes more.
We rode our bikes to the "Way Out Fest" tonight. It's a very nice venue along the Whitemouth River. People were swimming while listening to music. Natural grassy amphitheater down to the stage. I did feel a bit ancient in my CKUW t-shirt and jeans. Plus being the oldest geezer at the venue.
We have good weather for the opening night of Way Out Fest. Sounds like a good crowd.
It was a nice day to be by the water. Whitemouth Falls Park
Maylene went to the city. These 2 are on alert til her return.
We have a music festival happening in the village this weekend. It should be interesting. www.wayoutmb.ca

I've been watching while they prep the anchors ⚓️ for a hydro tower to go over the Whitemouth River. 3 huge screw piles on each corner.
The boil water advisory has been lifted for the RM (7 days). I'm happy about that.
3 inches of rain overnight. The garden is digging it.
I managed to get a picture while this guy stopped for a bit
We still have a boil water advisory in the RM . Day 4 today.
Our road has been closed the last couple of days while they apply Chip/Seal to our gravel road. It's fun watching 👀 the various equipment and steps they take.
The water is shutdown in the RM ,there will be a boil water order for when it comes back on. Hoping we get some water back soon.
We started our tincture tonight. 4-6 weeks til done. Should be deadly
Our friend gave us a pile of catnip,we harvested the flowers and are going to make a catnip tincture for our bug spray.
A lunch stop at Luna's on Seddons corner. I wanted to get a ride in before the weekend traffic starts.
In northern Japan and the forests of China, you can see these flowers that appear normal but whose petals become transparent upon contact with water. Its common name is skeleton flower or crystal flower; its scientific name is Diphylleia grayi.
We got 1 inch of rain yesterday and overnight, the garden and grass are happy. I'm happy too.
It's cloudy here but no rain. I hope some comes our way. My new lawn looks good from afar, but is far from good.
