Excited to have presented my research at the #HCIxB2025 hybrid workshop! In my presentation, "The Role of AI in Fact-Checking: HCI Perspectives from the Global South," I shared preliminary findings on how AI tools are shaping fact-checking practices across the Global South. 🌍🤖

I had the opportunity to take part in the Milton Wolf Seminar as one of Emerging Scholars, held under the theme “Ouroboros: The Infinite Loop of Media, Democracy, and Diplomacy” from April 8-10, in Vienna. In my presentation, I discussed how generative AI is reshaping the fact-checking ecosystem.
