I really need to mention that the guitarist from last night's opening band Tiny Forehead either took his prosthetic leg off or it fell off during their last song, so he just hopped on the spot while playing right to the end. I don't think anyone will ever match that kind of onstage energy.

My band The Glass House Museum will have the honour of headlining at Carpe Noctum this Saturday. It'll be one of the last few Carpe events to take place as it'll be bowing out as one of the leading goth events of the North at the end of the year. It's a big deal, so please join us for this one!
I went to Metallica's Big Day Out event on the 10th July 1999 (it was a friend's birthday trip). The lineup was: Metallica Marilyn Manson Placebo Ministry Sepultura Creed Ben Harper Monster Magnet Terrorvision Mercyful Fate Queens of the Stone Age Pitchshifter Symposium (1/2)
We're being asked to use less water because nature can't replace it fast enough, all while paying more for our water bills. But we're also having data centers built around the country. Makes perfect sense. 🙃 www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

The office today. Plus I noticed that it's July and there are still Christmas lights up on one of the trees outside.
Forgot to mention, I got up off the sofa & promptly dry-farted this afternoon. My partner laughed right up until the fan I was stood in front of blew it straight into her mouth. She won't tell you but I bet she can still taste it now.
So, after spending what must be maybe 2 hrs trying to find out what's stopping my MIDI keyboard working, I've realised that Mercury Retrograde ends on the 23rd July, so Imma leave it until Friday to get the screwdrivers on this absolute bastard. (I'm also reminded why I don't use MIDI keyboards.)

I spend a lot more time on Threads than here, so I need to tell you Facebookians about the latest Threads lore; Jimothy the raccoon. Born with a spinal deformity, he is likely the single most adored lifeform in Seattle. We must and will protect Jimothy at all costs, because OMGWTFBBQ LOOK AT HIM.
Jimothy will never know how famous he is.

We're opening a top notch gig tonight at The Rigger in Stoke. There was a tiny blip this morning when the venue had to look for a replacement sound guy, but we're all good. My band has played this venue many times so we know when to panic or not. And this was not a panic moment.
If you've seen this movie several times we can probably be friends.
We all knew this was coming; the people who spent more years than we care to remember stirring up hatred, division & violence on our streets are now afraid of the imaginary consequences of their own actions. If they really are 'victims' then they should act more afraid & stay away from us.
I'm actually making a start on that remix I planned to start, um...last week 🙃 Just getting some basic signature stuff off the ground before really fucking things up later.
www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... One less unapologetically hate-filled bag of barking mealworms, normalising bigotry & hiding it behind a veil of 'christianity' on a daily basis. Her only saving grace was that she danced like a reversing lorry on TV once. Good riddance, you awful human being.

Not long until I drop this odd little bird of a track. Then I'll be staring at a remix project for a few days, hoping I'll finally decide wtf I'm going to do. Because that's how executive dysfunction works. 'We're Not In Kansas Anymore' will be available Friday 3rd June on Bandcamp & Subvert.

Good morning everyone, especially Bluesky's HR dept who probably should be telling their social media manager to clear his desk today after the recent shitshow on Threads. Edgelord bullshit is not a good look, guys. Remember, lots of us have both Threads and Bluesky accounts. Do better.
Even a broken clock is broken most of the time, right? Quirky nonsense from yours truly coming soon.
As we move ever closer to November and the impending 'well timed gig the night before my birthday' period, I'll be excitedly waiting to hear Carpenter Brut play this live in Wolverhampton. (Warning, video may contain plenty of horror movie scenes & tiddehs.) youtu.be/gsgTn6qbbis?...

So, I've got one more quirky little track to release next Friday then I'm going to be focusing all my three braincells on a remix project. What comes after that, who knows. I hope you've enjoyed my random burst of creativity so far this year, it's made a nice change!
If anything, this heatwave has brought to my attention just how little I've actually told absolutely everything to fuck off lately. I really should fix that.
