#NowWatching Fist of the North Star (1995) Shortly after watching the original animated version, I found out America gave Fist of the North Star the live action treatment. Although I have a feeling it won’t be good, it does have an interesting cast.

#NowWatching Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins To coincide with the release of the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie, New Line Home Video released an animated prequel. The big question is whether or not it'll be worse than Annihilation because the reviews are pretty bad.

#NowWatching Night of the Bloody Apes Since I’ve got some time to kill before I head off to the Houston Horror Film Fest, I’m checking out a low-budget Mexican horror film that features Lucha Libre wrestlers. From that description, this film sounds craptastic.
