What I've learned is that it's not actually binding. We've basically been on the Honor System for the last 250, enforced by peer pressure. All it took was a pack of bad actors to turn it into bog roll.

There's a lady in my neighborhood who's basically the Karen neighbor from The House With A Clock In It's Walls, right down to the rat dog. She just screamed at my dog for existing and threatened to report her. I'd avoid her house but she lives right by the mailboxes.
I only ever bothered to keep one "I Voted" sticker, and it was from the 2024 presidential election. Thought it might be the last time I'd ever get to vote and I wanted the physical momento. Since we ARE getting another shot it is INCREDIBLY important that we all take it. No excuses.
