But there are also ppl who merely want a healthier experience for fans/HGs, starting w/ accountability&change. Hyperfocusing on the former & ignoring the latter is a strategy (unconscious or not) that puts off accountability&change
Like “we are not perfect, but we understand where we fell short and disappointed you. And I’m sorry and I’m going to do better” followed up by doings better… would go so much further

Idk if it’s the algorithm of it all or what but the BB community as a whole has become much more nonchalant about bigotry and I don’t like what that means for the future tbh
As I said yesterday, he’ll be back on something. He’s not as aggressively bigoted and charmless in person like BB24 Daniel was (he saves that for his Instagram likes, the voting booth, and sly homophobic comments) so reality tv fans won’t care #BB28

BB28 has been over for a week and I’ve been seeing a lot of “they love each other so the racial bias/microaggresion discourse was hysterical” or “fans should no longer be upset” in the wider community. A good reminder: racial bias is never just a personal problem.
