Beyond the Police board’s procedural mishandling of this complaint, the material issues relating to the VPD’s use of force and arbitrary detention of people engaged in Palestine protests remain unresolved. 🧵5/8

Pivot & BCCLA later filed complaints with the Vancouver Police Board. After concluding the surveillance complaint through a VPD-led investigation, the Police Board now asserts that it has resolved the use of force complaint, without having dealt with those allegations at all. 🧵4/8
