went out to US-2996 Cedar Hill State Park to do some CW but after 15 minutes of nobody responding to me, I switched to FT8. kinda disappointing.
CW is still a struggle because I don't do it enough, but I went out and activated with the KX2 I bought at the DFW HamExpo in June. I got my 10 QSOs and then called it a day. It was a super hot day in Dallas at US-2996 Cedar Hill State Park.
after my trip to Alaska and doing POTA at Glacier Bay National Park, I've activated 20 of the 50 states. Even got to activate while on the SeaWolf in the middle of Glacier Bay. The Captain gave me permission to operate :) #POTA #NationalParks #HamRadio
So 2016 we had deal w/ Iran preventing nukes then 🍊💩🤡 backed out & they can develop nukes again. Fast forward and start a war 2 🛑 nukes, now we sign new deal giving them the straight of Hormuz and $300 billion just to get the same thing we had 10 years before. We lost. Iran won. Innocents died.
I really think it should be illegal to donate money to political candidates you can't vote for because they are not your state, district, city, etc. You should only be able to donate for candidates in races where you have a vote.
Haven't done any POTA activations since March because life has been busy. But this month should be more active. A trip to WV for work next week and I'll be activating in VA and WV. Then a trip to Alaska the week after and I plan to be activating there too. New parks and new states!
