Y'all, seriously, go watch The Odyssey, it was amazing Also, wear earplugs. Trust me. And if you can, see it in IMAX

top 4 reasons the dm loves me: - I spam thunderwave - I have a +10 perception modifier - Every LR I have a free cast of a +10 stealth in 30t radius spell - I have a free revive on my character

A month ago I forced my friend to listen to some songs and his only question was "how the hell do you find this niche stuff" and holy shit I wish I knew, I'm running out

Look, I’m an open source maintainer, and if you want people to use that FOSS software as an alternative to that proprietary software it’s good to understand why people wanted to use that proprietary software in the first place and why they might be hesitant to switch It’s not because users are dumb

Me defending someone for using gnome in a group chat I'm not even in (the other person uses KDE): "You can't be hating on someone for using gnome when you're using windows but linux" I'm extremely proud of this line.

My first comic! It is semi-inspired by last night, when I was waiting for libreoffice and kdenlive to finish compiling so I could finish updating and go to sleep.

I've submitted my first ever artfight attack! You may notice that this file is slightly different than on the website, and that is because I fucked up exactly 1 line and didn't notice until it was too late and forgot to fill in the hair in Nova's left ear. I finally understand why fabric modders code like they're Mojang. It's because you're *forced* to code like you're Mojang. Fabric API does not give you what you need to make mods that can be ported without having to change every reference to Block, Item, etc. after and update.

Black Forest Labs (like Stability AI) likely took a bunch of work off the internet in order to train their AI. A bill in California would force transparency in their dataset. Want to help it pass? Please sign this petition in support, it'll take you 2 minutes: tinyurl.com/4uxbp963 1/

1/ This company’s models were trained on web scraped datasets (like LAION) and their founders are ex-Stability AI employees who engage in the same thieving practices that led artists like myself to sue Stability. GenAi companies NEED big names to sanitize their exploitation and crippling PR.

Screenshot of an X announcement by Black Forest Labs:

Martin Scorsese is an advisor to Black Forest
Labs.
He's spent six decades shaping how the world sees stories. Now he's helping us shape visual intelligence with human taste and craft at the center.
We sat down with him for a working storyboarding session using FLUX.

I just had the *amazing* idea of touching a knife *immediately* after it was smothered with a pot full of boiling water
