I'm not talking about what i did for my friend's birthday today btw, i know he's gonna love it and i know he won't make me feel small or like it wasn't enough. He'd never do that to me.
I need this to be understood. I do so much for people and all I ever want in return is thanks. Some appreciation. But so often i just don't get even that. It's hard to stay generous with my time and effort if some people just keep their hands out expecting more forever. So, maybe I'm done.
It would be so fucking cash money if for once i could build a platform on a social media site and not have it swept away by hostile digital architecture. I've left Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, and if this asshat gets his way I'm leaving bluesky too.
