As a kid I grew up in the San Fernando Valley in the 80s and early 90s. My dad took me to lots of sporting events, when it was still affordable for a blue collar family to do stuff like that. I love the Lakers games. Pat Riley, Magic, Kareem, the Laker Girls, those were my favorite nights.

Six months ago today I sat on my couch watching live streams out of Minneapolis and cried all day. I can't even imagine what this mother is going through.
