Exc: @adnamssouthwold.bsky.social is considering outsourcing production of its small-pack beers, as it looks to navigate 'challenging' trading conditions in ale. Raises the prospect of beers including Broadside and Ghost Ship being produced outside of Suffolk. www.thegrocer.co.uk/news/adnams-...

"When BrewDog makes another mess, the rest of the industry is left to follow behind with the pooper scooper." My brill colleague Dene Mullen skewers BrewDog over the omnishambles of its sale to Tilray, and the resulting job losses. Via @thegrocer.bsky.social. www.thegrocer.co.uk/comment-and-...

BrewDog sale is a s***show for staff as well as investors

BrewDog debacle has let down staff and investors, and smacks of corporate greed, mismanagement and heartlessness

So much will be said about all this in the coming days, but IMO the biggest takeaway is that James Watt and Martin Dickie each pocketed more than the price BrewDog was eventually sold for, while 500 hardworking staff are now out of a job & 220k equity punks don't get a dime. Absolute charlatans.

As reported elsewhere, BrewDog has appointed advisors to run a rapid-fire sale. Not reported elsewhere - the sale likely to be conducted by an administrator, rather than on a solvent basis. Makes the chances of Equity Punks seeing any return close to nil, IMO. www.thegrocer.co.uk/news/brewdog...

BrewDog appoints advisors to run accelerated sale process

A quick-fire sale is likely to be executed by an administrator, rather than on a solvent basis, The Grocer understands.
