The Beethoven Group

Witness. Record. Resist. Tracking how American self-government gets hollowed out, and the tools to outlast it: constitutional reform, privacy, and the squeeze on ordinary people. Signal: Beethoven_Group.67

I'm posting this for the late-night crowd. It's not here to tell you to do anything. It's here to show you that if you sit on the sidelines, you ain't going to get anything because we will win in the end. Those who work now, those who educate now, and those who organize now will reap the benefits.

“We can't control the past 250 years. What we can do is build the next 250” This is the right attitude. Fuck all the trauma holding us back. Let's set things right moving forward. Whatever that costs, let's deal with it.

El-Sayed: We live in an era where we continue to see a few very small people try to define America as being as small as they are. We can't control the past 250 years. What we can do is build the next 250

If Abdul El-Said wins the Michigan Democratic primary, this is going to be a landmark, watershed election. The establishment, the centrist fascists, the right fascists, AIPAC, and everyone with money threw everything at him and yet he's crushing her. Fingers crossed.

Late 90s Delta kit was peak operator. You didn't know if it was Peter Jennings coming to interview you or a kill squad coming to disappear you. There is something to be said for this type of Banana Republic camouflage. They were not trying to be seen in any environment. Very different from today.

Stop using the suffering of others to hide from your own inability to control your own government. Your own lack of civic knowledge. Ukrainians and Palestinians don't need your fake sympathy, they need your civic actions so our governments can help them fight evil forces. They need real support.

I can say that because I can analyze history and see that humanity strives to come together, and is only kept apart by ruling bodies with selfish desires. I'm pretty sure the Palestinian in Gaza or the Ukrainian on the front lines is feeling pretty similarly right now too.

I snarkyly said this in a comment but it is true. Stop complaining about the courts and start using them. Being angry on social media isn’t going to change anything. You have to bankrupt them and destroy their support. Isolate them culturally and isolate them socially.

'Thought I Was Going to Die': Black Musician Attacked While Recording White Nationalist Group Marching In Boston Receives $2.7M Judgment, Critics Say It's Tactic to 'Bankrupt the Group'

The white nationalist group Patriot Front and its leader, Thomas Rousseau, have been hit where it hurts most in a civil rights violation ruling. On Jan.

Something I heard a couple of minutes ago: the speaker is right; we are not losing a cultural war but abdicating a cultural war because many can't control their emotions on the Center-Left. We are not fighting adults on the right; they are all 14 y. o. boys. Yet we let them get under our skin.

The group needs to hire this guy. "I'm done pretending this is a government" needs to be a campaign slogan. It's crazy that no one wants to actually fix the real problem with our government. People are only all for heritage and fear of change. —Julian Cross

The US is not providing interceptors to Ukraine because the US has run out of them. Not because Trump is a Russian asset. Ukraine will adjust like a boxer to Euro and home-grown systems. The scary part is the Arsenal of Freedom is broken.

The Patriot Runs Out: Ukraine's Air-Defence Pivot

Why the US Patriot pipeline has structurally broken, what Europe is building to replace it, and the mosaic air-defence stack Ukraine will field in 2027.

Every civic tool you already learned points directly at this fight too. Precinct seats decide what your party's housing platform actually says. Records requests expose the exact subsidy a hospital promised and never delivered. None of this needed a new toolkit. It needed a new target.

You already learned who built survival infrastructure under governments that wanted them gone. This week showed you the specific mechanisms doing the squeezing right now. Put those together and the instructions are obvious. Build it here, on purpose, before you need it.

The National Apartment Association says on its own website that it opposes rent control in all forms. That is not a hidden hand. That is a named trade group lobbying a named state legislature to keep your city powerless. Why does that group get more say than your council?

This week: wages flat since the 1970s, rent laws blocked by your own state, medical debt sold as inevitable, wage theft barely punished. Four different sentences, same structure. Every single one was a vote, not a law of nature. Nothing about the squeeze was ever automatic.
