As of today I’ve removed Twitter from my phone and locked my account. Elon going all in on Generative AI, including enabling Grok to generate deepfakes OF MINORS is unconscionable. This year we ALL need to be louder than ever about this: GenAI is largely unethical and needs to be regulated.

I'm being so real right now, learn how to engage in media as art and not a reflection of your own real life morals. consume things that make you uncomfortable and understand why it makes you uncomfortable. Don't just base yours and others morals standings on the media you consume.
The lack of mainstream coverage of regular huge protests reminds me of a talk from a Twitter employees who explained that they had to drop BLM off the Trending Tags section because otherwise it would have been there permanently. The modern media environment has no appetite for sustained movements.
