If you got kids check on them: there’s an ideology emerging out of late gen z/early Gen A, that I can only describe as “oppositionalism.” Its a lot of anger at any alternative lifestyle, the opposite sex, other races and other nationalities, and just the general nebulous “other.” Very anti-outgroup.

Idk… something shifted in 2016, where people felt a lot more comfortable being racist and prejudiced (even more than the Bush administration), and I think it’s easier to blame immigrants, feminists, gays, etc for all your problems while the economy fails.
